I became a celebrant several years ago following a pretty tough fight with cancer. Towards the end of this battle, whilst still having treatment, I decided my life must change – I wanted to give back, but I didn’t know how.
A friend suggested I train to be a Celebrant.
He said “You’d be perfect! You love people and your love weddings!”
He was right!
So, whilst in hospital I studied and then later, completed my exams and passed with flying colours.
And guest what – I haven’t looked back!!
I am a naturally outgoing bubbly person, with a personality to match and I absolutely love meeting people. I have a great rapport with all types of people when I meet them to discuss their wedding..
I guess it’s because my excitement and genuine interest in you and your wedding shows through when we meet.
In fact, my husband says he never sees me at parties or events, as I’m always off talking to new people and having a ball! He describes me as vivacious and a non-stop talker!
I have conducted 100’s of wedding ceremonies, naming ceremonies and renewal of vows – all unique ceremonies – tailored to suit the people involved.
This is more than a job to me – this is my absolute passion!
