Unless you have been living under a rock, or off-grid in the back of beyond, I’m sure you are aware of the dreaded Corona Virus and the current Restrictions in place in Victoria. This terrible Virus has wreaked havoc upon the world with thousands affected.
It is no understatement when the newsreaders state “we are living in unprecedented and challenging times”. Personally, I find it almost unfathomable to conceive, and simply cannot believe how it has affected our daily lives!
Thanks to some extremely strict rules imposed by the Victorian Government, we are seeing the ‘flattening of the curve’ and we hope this continues.
One of these restrictions directly affects weddings, funerals and events.
Currently you are only allowed FIVE (5) people a wedding service – including your Celebrant. This means – just the couple marrying and TWO (2) Adult witnesses can attend with the Celebrant. Additionally, during the ceremony, Social Distancing and appropriate hand hygiene is to be applied.
Many Brides have decided to postpone their wedding until next year because they want all their family and friends to be there.
Others have chosen to have a “Legal’s only” brief wedding under these restrictions and then opting for a larger celebration next year with a Commitment Ceremony in front of their family and friends.
Whatever you choose, rest assured that the team at Marry Me Helley will work hard with you to accommodate your wishes. The team also follows strict hygiene procedures and ensures the appropriate distancing is applied.
Due to these extraordinary circumstances we are offering a special to anyone who wishes to get married during these times.
We are currently running a $300 Legal’s only wedding with the offer of another ceremony (should the couple decided to have a larger celebration later) for the small cost of $400.00.
If you are interested in these offers, please contact us.
In the meantime, we hope you stay inside and keep safe!
Remember to check on isolated or elderly neighbours and please adhere to the restrictions in place. They are there for your safety.
Take care!
